Rs 50 lakh for MLA ticket: Hyderabad police book Praja Shanti Party president KA Paul for cheating

The complainant alleged that KA Paul didn't fulfill his promise despite promising an MLA seat and offered a different position instead

HYDERABAD: A cheating case was registered against Praja Shanti Party president KA Paul at Punjagutta police station on Friday.

According to reports, KA Paul was booked after Punjagutta police received a complaint from the victim, Surya Kiran Kumar, who reportedly paid Rs. 50 lakhs to KA Paul for an MLA ticket.

His complaint alleged that KA Paul didn't fulfill his promise despite promising an MLA seat and offered a different position instead. The cheating case was registered at Punjagutta police station. Further investigation is underway
