Siddipet BJP leader tries to abduct a man over love affair, rescued by locals

HYDERABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party leader from Siddipet Chakradhar Goud has attempted to kidnap a young man following the latter's dispute with his girlfriend in Ghatkesar of Medchal Malkajgiri district.

According to information, the victim identified as Avinash Reddy hailing from the suburbs of Medipalli had a love affair with his classmate Anshita Reddy for a few years and had spent a huge sum of money on his girlfriend out of love.

However, Anshita started ignoring Avinash Reddy after she got into a relationship with another person and went on to threaten Avinash asking him to delete her photos and videos. As Avinash was adamant, Anshita took the help of Siddipet BJP leader Chakradhar Goud to reprimand Avinash.

Chakradhar Goud called Avinash to Vandana Hotel on Hyderabad-Warangal highway near Ghatkesar saying that they could resolve the issue by sitting and talking together. Avinash, who went to Vandana Hotel, was taken in a car and was beaten by the Chakradhar Goud gang.

However, as Avinash screamed while he was being abducted, the locals who noticed it, chased the Chakradhar Goud gang and rescued Avinash.

Later, Avinash Reddy approached the police and lodged a police complaint against Chakradhar Goud alleging that the latter was having a live-in relationship with Anshita Reddy. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
