SS Rajamouli made Telugus famous worldwide, says Harish Rao

HYDERABAD: Minister for Finance T Harish Rao has said that SS Rajamouli, through his magnum opus Bahubali, had made Telugu pride known to people elsewhere in the country and, through RRR, made Telugus famous all over the world.
Speaking to the media along with Rajamouli at the launch of Little Stars and She Hospital in Banjara Hills of Hyderabad on Sunday, June 6, 2023, Harish Rao said Rajamouli made inspiring movies that had patriotic fervour and wished him success in future productions.
Harish Rao said that Rajamouli’s father Vijeyendra Prasad had announced that he would bear the entire expenditure of patient care and security at the MNJ cancer hospital for two years.
The minister then talked about the advances in the health and medical sector in Telangana after the formation of the state. He said that super specialty MCHs would be launched in NIMS and Gandhi hospitals. He said that Telangana, under the leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), had transformed into a global medical and health hub.
Later, he felicitated Rajamouli on RRR receiving Oscar in the best original song category.
Rajamouli, while praising Harish Rao, said that Siddipet grew leaps and bounds under his stewardship. “I became a big fan of Harish Rao after visiting Siddipet,” he said.
