Steel bridge: Traffic diversions around Chikkadpally for three months

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad traffic police have imposed traffic diversions in connection with the construction of the Steel Bridge in the Chikkadpally traffic police station limits for the next three months.

To expedite construction, traffic would be diverted on the following routes from March 10 to June 6, 2023, to avoid inconvenience to the commuters.

Traffic Diversions

• Traffic from Chikkadpally to Ashok Nagar through RTC X Road will be detoured at Sudha Nandi Hotel Lane, Chikkadpally via City Central Library to Street No. 9, right turn Ashok Nagar X Road, left turn Indira Park.
• Traffic travelling from VST to Ashok Nagar through RTC "X" Road will be detoured at RTC "X" Road via Hebron Church Lane, Andhra Café, Jagadamba Hospital, left turn Ashok Nagar X road, and right turn Indira Parks.
• Traffic coming from Indira Park towards RTC X road will be diverted at Ashok Nagar X road via Jagadamba Hospital right turn, Andhra café, Hebron Church, Chikkadpally main Road.
• Traffic heading from Indira Park to RTC X road will be detoured at Ashok Nagar X road via the Jagadamba Hospital right turn, Andhra Café, Hebron Church, and Chikkadpally main Road.
• Traffic coming from CGO Towers towards RTC X road will be diverted at RC Reddy lane, towards Jagadamba Hospital, Andhra café, Hebron Church, Chikkadpally main Road.
• Traffic from CGO Towers to RTC X Road will be detoured via RC Reddy Lane to Jagadamba Hospital, Andhra Café, Hebron Church, and Chikkadpally Main Road.
• Traffic coming from Street No. 9 towards RTC X road will be diverted at Ashok Nagar Chaman, right turn City Central Library, Sudha Nandi Hotel Lane, Chikkadpally main road.
• Traffic from Street No. 9 would be detoured at Ashok Nagar Chaman, right turn City Central Library, Sudha Nandi Hotel Lane, and Chikkadpally main road.

The Hyderabad traffic police have urged commuters to take note of the above diversions and seek other routes/avoid the above roads in order to reach their destination.
