RANGA REDDY: In a bizarre incident reported in Narsingi of Ranga Reddy district, a three-member gang attacked two employees of a petrol pump killing one of them.
According to police, three youths arrived at an HP petrol pump in Janwada at midnight in a car to fill the fuel which the staff refused. However, the three youths requested the staff to fill the fuel saying that they had to go a long distance.
The petrol pump staff filled the fuel in the car and the youth made a card payment. As the transaction failed, the petrol pump worker insisted that they paid cash, which led to an argument between them followed by an attack.
While the three youths attacked the cashier Chotu, another worker named Sanjay tried to stop them. However, the assailants brutally attacked Sanjay and fled the spot. Sanjay, who was shifted to hospital after severe injuries, was pronounced dead, which left his family members in a tragedy.
The Narsingi police upon receiving the information registered a murder case against the three youths identified as Narender, Mallesh, and Anup of Janwada village. The police started search operations for the accused based on the CCTV footage.
