Traffic cop performs CPR to save accident victim in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: A traffic constable from the Kancharapalem Traffic Police Station performed Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR) on a critically wounded victim in Visakhapatnam's Kancharapalem area on Sunday.
A person, who was riding a two-wheeler, suffered head and leg injuries after another two-wheeler crashed with his at R&B junction.
The man collapsed and fell unconscious on the spot following the crash, bleeding profusely.
Kancharapalem Traffic Constable R Chandramohan and Airport Police Station L&O Constable Krishna rushed to the spot and attempted to save the injured two-wheeler rider.
The constable quickly began administering CPR and was immediately transferred to the nearest hospital for proper medical care, which saved his life.
The traffic cop was hailed with compliments after the incident went viral on social media. The Kancharapalem traffic police said that the other two-wheeler driver who caused the collision was taken to the police station. A case was registered, and investigations are underway.
