The Union Home Ministry has divided Andhra Bhavan between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh almost 10 years after the bifurcation of two Telugu states.
HYDERABAD: The Union Home Ministry has divided Andhra Bhavan between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh almost 10 years after the bifurcation of two Telugu states.
The decision was taken during a recent meeting with State Reorganisation Affairs officials of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, which discussed the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi.
Following discussions with State Reorganisation Affairs officials, it has been finalised that Telangana will receive the Sabari block (3 acres) and Pataudi House (5.245 acres), totaling 8.24 acres.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh will be allotted the Godavari block (4.315 acres), internal road (0.512 acres), part of Sabari block (0.95 acres), nursing hostel (3.35 acres), and a portion of Pataudi House (2.39 acres), totaling 11.53 acres.
