Uppal Skywalk to be operational by April 2023: Arvind Kumar
Lights, selective shades, and street furniture would also be included on the Skywalk, which is anticipated to cost Rs 25 crore
HYDERABAD: Arvind Kumar, Telangana Chief Secretary-MA&UD, inspected the 660-meter skywalk Uppal X-roads, which is being built by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, on Tuesday (HMDA).
The Uppal Skywalk, which is expected to be operational in April 2023, would include nine elevators, three escalators, and direct access to a metro station. Lights, selective shades, and street furniture would also be included on the Skywalk, which is anticipated to cost Rs 25 crore.
The skywalk, once completed and operational, is anticipated to improve pedestrian safety while simultaneously reducing traffic congestion at the Uppal crossroads.
