YouTuber Chandoo Sai arrested for rape, cheating woman; family absconding

HYDERABAD: Telugu YouTuber Chandoo Sai, popularly known as 'Pakkinti Kurradu' and recognised for ‘Dhagad’ web series, has been arrested on charges of rape and cheating by Narsingi police. He has also been booked under the SC/ST Atrocities Act.

According to the remand report, Chandrashekar Sai Kiran a.k.a Chandoo Sai promised to marry a woman but cheated her later. He allegedly assaulted the victim multiple times. The woman belongs to the Scheduled Caste community. Chandoo's family has also been accused of demanding Rs 3 crore from the victim's family.

Chandoo was arrested on December 14 and was lodged in Chanchalguda Jail as a remand prisoner. Four other accused in the case are currently absconding.
