YSRCP MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy turns approver in Delhi Liquor Scam case
Previously, his son Magunta Raghava Reddy, Aurobindo Pharma director Sarath Chandra Reddy and Delhi businessman Dinesh Arora turned approvers in the case.
HYDERABAD: In a significant development in the Delhi liquor scam case, YSRCP Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy has become an approver in the case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been investigating the case for several months, and the Minister is the latest high-profile figure to turn approver.
Previously, Srinivasulu Reddy's son Magunta Raghava Reddy, Aurobindo Pharma director Sarath Chandra Reddy, Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s alleged aide Dinesh Arora turned approvers in the case.
ED has already collected key information from 20 people in the scam.The investigating agencies are likely to speed up their investigation after the G20 meetings in New Delhi. The ED is investigating the transfer of money from Hyderabad to Delhi in connection with the scam. The developments could have a political impact in the wake of upcoming Assembly and Parliament elections in the next few months.
