Undertrial prisoner in a theft case dies at Tukaram Gate Police station, family seeks justice

HYDERABAD: The Choutuppal Police and LB Nagar Special Operation Team sleuths have arrested a six-member gang and seized 200 kgs of ganja (marijuana) at Pantangi toll plaza in LB Nagar under Rachakonda Police Commissionerate limits on Tuesday. The accused were apprehended while they were illegally trafficking ganja from Sileru to Maharashtra.

The police, acting on a tipoff, intercepted the gang at Pantangi toll plaza while they were smuggling the banned substance in a car. The SOT police seized 200-kg of ganja worth around Rs 40 lakhs, two cars, six mobile phones and two duplicate car number plates from their possession.

The police said that they were investigating the case and vowed to track down the persons who were behind this operation.
