3 arrested for robberies in Guntur, Rs 7.8 lakh worth goods seized

GUNTUR: The Guntur police arrested a three-member gang of inter-state robbers from Guntur and siezed Rs 7.8 lakh worth goods and Rs 1.2 lakh in cash.

Suprindentent of Police Arif Hafeez said that the accused shifted to Telangana from Uttar Pradesh and were involved in multiple cases of robbery.

Reportedly, they ran a fake business of selling blankets during the day and targetted houses which were locked. They broke the locks and stole houses. There were a total of eight cases against them in Guntur.
