4 of wedding party killed after lorry hits car in Palnadu district

PALNADU: Four persons were killed and seven others severely injured after a tipper lorry rammed into a car with a wedding party on board on Friday. The incident occurred near Uppalapadu village in Veldurthi Mandal of Palnadu district in Andhra Pradesh.

A woman and two children of the 10-member wedding party besides the car driver were killed in the ghastly incident. The identity of the deceased was not immediately known. Seven others, who received grievous injuries, were initially taken to Macharla Government hospital. However, they were later shifted to Guntur Government Hospital for better treatment.
