50 students hospitalised due to food poisoning in Araku hostel

VIZAG: Fifty students of a tribal welfare girls' hostel fell seriously ill after consuming contaminated food.

The incident occurred late at night in Bondiguda Tribal Welfare Girls' High School in Araku's Dumbriguda Mandal of Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh, causing severe discomfort among the students. They were immediately taken to a hospital in Araku Valley for treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the contamination.
