6 of family from Bibinagar killed after car plunges into canal near Siddipet

SIDDIPET: In a ghastly accident, six members of a family from Bibinagar were killed on the spot after the car they were travelling in fell into a roadside canal in Siddipet district on Tuesday. The mishap occurred near Munigadapa in Jagdevpur mandal.

The car plunged into the canal after the driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in fatalities. The accident victims have been identified as Venkatesh, Sammaiah, Sravanti, Lokesh, Rajamani and Bhavya Sri.

The tragic incident happened when the family was returning to Bibinagar after a darshan at the Rajanna temple in Vemulawada.

The police and the local people were in the process of extricating the bodies from the ill-fated vehicle.
