8 months into marriage, woman ends life by hanging in Rajendra Nagar

HYDERABAD: A newly-married woman allegedly died by suicide in Attapur police station limits in Rajendranagar of Ranga Reddy district on Monday.

According to details, a woman named Pushpanjali got married to Kiran Kumar of Attapur eight months ago. However, for reasons still unknown, the woman resorted to extreme steps and hanged herself to death on a ceiling fan when she was alone at home.

The husband, who arrived home to an unanswered door, broke into the house and found his wife hanging from the ceiling fan.

The Attapur police, upon receiving information from Kiran Kumar, reached the spot and registered a case. The investigation was underway and the reason for the suicide was still unknown.
