Another student death rocks Narayana’s Bachupally college; suicide suspected

HYDERABAD: In yet another student death in the Narayana educational institutions, a first-year Intermediate student was found dead on the girls campus of the group’s junior college in Bachupally on Tuesday morning. While it is being suspected to be a case of suicide, the police are probing the case from all angles to rule out the possibility of any other reason for the death.

The deceased was identified as R Vamshika (16), a native of Kamareddy. Incidentally, the victim was admitted to the college in the MPC stream of first year Intermediate course only a week ago.

The body of the girl was found behind the college building in Narayana’s Bachupally facility. The death of the young girl under suspicious circumstances within a week of her joining the college sent shockwaves. Soon after noticing Vamshika’s body, the college management informed the Bachupally police and the girl’s parents about the tragic development.

The police, while initiating their investigation into the incident, shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police registered a case and are investigating the death from all possible angles to ascertain whether it was a suicide or an accidental death or was there any other reason that may have caused the demise.
