AP CID starts action against child pornography, 12 arrested

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department has commenced steps to take action against child pornography on social media.

It is learned that the CID has found that people uploading obscene images of children through Facebook, YouTube, and Gmail and arrested 12 accused persons, including three women hailing from Vijayawada.

With the information received from AP CID, Vijayawada Cyber Crime police plunged into action and registered cases against 12 people including three women under sections 67B, ITA 2000-2008 who are resorting to child pornography through social media.
