Army soldier killed on Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad in hit-and-run case

HYDERABAD: One person was killed in a hit-and-run case on the Outer Ring Road under Narsingi police station limits. He is later identified as an Indian Army soldier. He crossing the road at Outer Ring Road and was hit by an unidentified vehicle. He died on the spot. The vehicle was proceeding from Gachibowli to Airport side. The police are analysing CC camera footage.

He is identified as Kunal, a soldier working in the Artillery Centre at Golconda.

The Army officials and the police are inquiring into the incident and also the reasons why he had come to the ORR.

Several questions arose on the hit-and-run case even as the police were analysing the CC TV footage.

A large posse of army jawans reached the scene.

Investigation is being stepped up to identify the vehicle concerned and also of there were any extraneous reasons for the incident.
