HYDERABAD: Tollywood producer Bandla Ganesh once again flattered to deceive, this time in the elections held for the Film Nagar Cultural Centre (FNCC) in Jubilee Hills here. The mercurial small-time actor-turned-producer contested for the position of Vice-President but suffered a humiliating defeat.
Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao, the brother of Super Star Krishna, was elected as the new President in the polls held at FNCC on Monday. Despite all the hype and hoopla he created for himself, Bandla Ganesh failed to win the hearts of the members as he was trounced by Thummala Ranga Rao for the post of vice-president. Besides Adisheshagiri Rao and Thummala Ranga Rao, Mullapudi Mohan (secretary), Rajasekhar Reddy (treasurer) and PVSS Peddiraju (joint secretary) were the other winners among the main office-bearers. Edida Raja, Indrapal Reddy, Vadlapatla Mohan, Ch Vara Prasada Rao, Sailaja, Kaja Suryanarayana, Director Murali Mohan, Balaraju and Gopala Rao were elected as committee members.
