SIRCILLA: A 12-year-old student studying was bitten by a snake on the school premises.

The incident occurred on Friday at the BC welfare school in Galipalli, Illanthakunta Mandal, in the Sircilla district. The student, Ramavath Rohit, from Sevalal Tanda of Mustabad, cried for help.

The school staff quickly rushed Rohit to a private hospital in Yellareddypet, where he is currently receiving treatment. He is said to be in a stable condition.
