Bizarre: Gang murders rival in Pragathi Nagar, posts celebratory videos on Instagram, 3 held

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a group of friends in Pragathi Nagar killed an individual and shared videos boasting the act on Instagram. The crime has raised concerns about the negative influence of social media on youngsters.
The victim, Tejas (also known as Siddhu), a 21-year-old resident of Dasaram Basthi in SR Nagar, was arrested last year on charges of murder (A3 in a murder case) and was released two months ago.
After his release, Siddhu moved to a rented house in Pragathi Nagar with his mother. On Sunday night, while his mother was away in her hometown, Siddhu partied with his friends Mahesh, Shivappa, and Sameer.
Following the party, around 3:30 am, Siddhu went to Bathukamma Ghat in Pragathi Nagar. While standing near the ghat, he was attacked and killed with daggers by a group of friends of the individual he had previously murdered.
In a shocking display of brutality, the murderers recorded a selfie video after the crime and uploaded it on Instagram.
