Cases filed against individuals for spreading false propaganda on Miyapur government lands
Police have registered cases against 10 people for inciting the public and also booked those who pelted stones at police.
HYDERABAD: Police have registered cases against several individuals who spread false propaganda and instigated the seizure of government lands in Miyapur.
The primary accused, identified as Sangeeta and Sita, allegedly organised meetings in local function halls, where they provoked poor residents to encroach on government property.
The police have filed cases against ten people, including Sangita, Sita, Santosh, and others. These individuals are accused of inciting the public and leading them to occupy government lands illegally. In addition, cases have been registered against those who pelted stones at police officers during the encroachments.
The police are actively searching for the absconding accused while also taking measures to prevent further illegal activities related to land seizure. The authorities emphasise that spreading misinformation and provoking unlawful actions will be met with strict legal consequences.
