HYDERABAD: Men associated with Tirupathi Reddy, brother of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, allegedly assaulted a water tanker driver for blocking the road.

The victim, Syed Salim, reported that he was attacked by youths linked to Tirupathi Reddy while he was filling water at the hostel of CGR School in Ayyappa Society. Salim sustained head injuries during the incident that occurred on June 12 at around at 1:30 pm.

The incident was captured on CCTV, showing a man exiting a car that was blocked by the water tanker. He is seen snatching the hose from the tanker, causing water to spill onto the road. Shortly after, approximately 3-4 youths approached from the opposite side and began assaulting the driver.

Salim expressed his frustration, stating that despite lodging a complaint at the police station, no FIR was registered, allegedly due to the involvement of the Chief Minister's brother.
