Congress worker hacked to death at public meeting in Rajendranagar

HYDERABAD: In a ghastly incident, a Congress worker was hacked to death at Rajendranagar in the city.

The assailant chased the Congress activist at a public meeting organised by the party. He caught hold of him and slit his throat killing him in full public glare. The murder chased a flutter and the attendees ran helter-skelter soon after the incident.

The police immediately reached the scene. Details of the victim, assassin and the cause are being investigated into.
