Constable dies by suicide at Rangareddy collectorate

HYDERABAD: A constable belonging to the 2018 batch of the Armed Reserve (AR) named Balakrishna died by suicide by shooting himself with a firearm in the Rangareddy collectorate early on Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on the ground floor of the collectorate building, where the constable was on duty.

Police reached the scene after receiving information about the incident and secured the area. The body was moved to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Balakrishna was a native of Manchala village in Rangareddy district. Further details about the incident are awaited, and an investigation is underway.
