Couple found dead on Rushikonda Beach in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: People who frequent Rishikonda Beach near Vishakhapatnam were in for a shock after the dead bodies of a man and a woman, assumed to be a couple, were found there on Friday.

Their bodies were found on the shore of Bay of Bengal. First, the body of the young woman was found early in the morning. She was identified as Divya, a native of Vizianagaram district. Some time later, the local people also discovered the body of the man, identified as Venkata Reddy of Nandyal.

The police have registered a case and are investigating to know if it was a suicide pact or any foulplay involved.
