Customs officials seize 220 gm of gold at RGIA

HYDERABAD: Customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, seized 220 gm gold worth Rs.11 lakhs from a passenger who was travelling from Dubai on Wednesday.

Reportedly, the passenger hid pieces of gold in a makeup kit and also converted gold into his shirt's buttons.

On receiving information, the officials caught him and registered a case against him. The authorities were interrogating the passenger and more details are awaited.
