HYDERABAD: A dispute over Rs 10,000 led to a brutal murder of a man in broad daylight opposite the Telangana High Court in Hyderabad on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Mithun, a worker at a local Sulabh complex.
According to reports, Mithun was involved in a quarrel with the accused on Thursday morning in connection with a dispute over Rs 10,000 at Gate No. 6 of the High Court under the Charminar police station limits. As the fight escalated, the accused brutally stabbed Mithun to death with a knife in a fit of rage.
The accused later surrendered in a local police station and admitted to the killing, unable to control his anger over the dispute. The Charminar police shifted the body of Mithun to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case was registered and investigation is going on.
