Elderly couple murdered in Ranga Reddy district

HYDERABAD: An elderly couple was found murdered in an agricultural field in Kottaguda, under the Kandukur Police Station limits in Ranga Reddy district.

The victims, identified as Ushaiah (55) and Shanthamma (50) from Mushtipalli village in Nagarkurnool district, were discovered by the police after a distress call.

The couple, who worked as watchmen at the farm, were found with their bodies lying in different locations. Shanthamma's body was found inside a room, while Ushaiah's was discovered outside. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation, focusing on why the couple was targeted and who may be responsible for the crime.

Authorities are exploring multiple angles to determine the motive behind the murders. The investigation is ongoing.
