SIRCILLA: A 70-year-old woman named Kukatla Rajavva was abandoned alive at a cemetery by her nephew, Kukatla Tirupati, in Tangallapalli mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district.

The elderly woman, left in the cemetery’s veranda, was reportedly weak and suffering from hunger when authorities intervened to save her.

Rajavva, who has no children of her own, had been staying at her nephew’s house. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, she was left at the cemetery while still alive. Local officials responded promptly, rescuing her and ensuring she received the necessary care.

After the intervention, the authorities counselled Tirupati, and Rajavva was returned to her nephew’s home.
