Farmers forced to pull transformer on cart after officials neglect power issues in Mahabubabad

MAHABUBABAD: In a desperate attempt to save their drying crops, farmers in Rampuram village of Mahabubabad district were forced to pull a transformer on a cart themselves after officials ignored their pleas to fix power outages caused by recent heavy rains.

Despite multiple complaints to electricity officials, the damaged transformer remained unrepaired, leaving the farmers without power for irrigation. The situation became so dire that farmers, acting as oxen, dragged the transformer on a bullock cart and installed it themselves.

The affected farmers urged authorities to address the ongoing power issues immediately to prevent further damage to their crops.
