HYDERABAD: A significant fire broke out on Friday morning at a garment showroom located near Nayab Hotel on Madina Circle Road in Hyderabad's Old City.

The blaze, which started on the second floor of the building, resulted in the destruction of clothing items worth lakhs of rupees. According to local sources, the fire rapidly spread across the second floor, which housed a large stock of textile materials and readymade garments. Passersby promptly alerted the police, who, along with fire services, responded swiftly to the emergency.

Fire engines from Gowliguda and Moghalpura fire stations were dispatched to the scene. The firefighters managed to bring the fire under control after an intense operation.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and further details are awaited as investigations continue.
