Fireman's body found on Hyderabad railway track; suicide suspected

HYDERABAD: The body of a fireman working in the Hyderabad division was found on a railway track on the city outskirts on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Y Sudhakar and the police suspect it to be a case of suicide.
Sudhakar's body, mutilated beyond recognition, was found on the Shivarampally-Shastripuram railway track. The police suspect that he might have thrown himself under a speeding train. He belonged to the 2011 batch and was attached to the Chandulal Baradari Fire Station.
His remains were shifted to the hospital for a postmortem examination. The fire department authorities were informed about the incident. The police have registered the case and are investigating it further.
The reason that drove Sudhakar to this drastic step was not immediately known.
