Four nabbed, bikes worth Rs. 50 lakh seized in Rajendranagar
The police adviced people to check that they did not leave the keys on their vehicles and be vigilant, even in residential areas.
HYDERABAD: The sleuths of Special Operations Team (SOT), Shamshabad Zone, along with Rajendranagar Police, apprehended two criminals Mohd Ashwaq and Mohd Akber and two Juvenile boys and seized 46 stolen motor cycles worth about Rs.50 lakhs, on Saturday.
Investigation revealed that the main accused Mohd Ashwaq along with his associate Mohd Akber, who worked as salesmen, were not satisfied with their income and started stealing motor cycles around 10 months ago. They were joined by Saddam and Rizwan, who were currently absconding, and two other juveniles.
The police said that 19 bikes were stolen from Cyderabad PS limits, 20 were from Hyderabad limits and five bikes were stolen from Rachakonda limits. The owners of two bikes were yet to be identified.
The police adviced people to check that they did not leave the keys on their vehicles and be vigilant, even in residential areas. They urged the people to alert the police immediately in such cases.
