Girl dies of shock witnessing brutal attack on father

SURYAPET: A 14-year-old girl died of shock after witnessing a brutal attack on her father.
In D Kothapalli village of Nagaram Mandal in Suryapet district, a man, Kasam Somayya, was embroiled in a land dispute with Kadari Saidulu and Kadari Somayya from the same village. On Thursday, during the Bonalu festival at 10 PM, Saidulu, Somayya, and Kalingam attacked Kasam Somayya at his home with sticks and iron rods. The assault left Somayya with a broken leg and head injuries, while his wife also sustained head injuries when she tried to intervene.
Their daughter, Pavani, witnessed the attack and pleaded, "Please leave my father," but the assailants continued. Overcome by shock, she collapsed and was found dead by family members. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
