Home Guard killed in RTC bus accident in Jagtial

JAGTIAL: A home guard was killed after being hit by an RTC bus near Metpally town outskirts in Jagtial district on Thursday. The deceased, Subbaraju, was working at the Jagtial Rural Police Station.

According to local reports, Subbaraju had just finished having breakfast at a nearby hotel and was on his way home on his two-wheeler when the accident occurred. An RTC bus traveling from Nizamabad to Warangal collided with his bike, resulting in his death on the spot.

Police arrived at the scene after being informed and transferred the body to the government hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
