Horrendous sexual assault on a three-year-old in Siddipet, suspect arrested

SIDDIPET: In a harrowing incident in Siddipet, a three-year-old girl was sexually assaulted, triggering widespread shock.

The assault occurred in the Matrivanam area of Siddipet on August 19, during the afternoon hours, within an apartment complex where construction is ongoing.

The perpetrator, identified as Ajay, a painter working at the site, allegedly took the watchman's granddaughter into his room and committed the assault. Her cries alerted her grandfather, who immediately notified the local police. The victim was swiftly transferred to the Siddipet Government Hospital.

Inspector Vidyasagar of the III Town Police stated that a case was registered and investigations commenced promptly. Ajay, originally from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested at a bus stop in Poonal shortly after the incident and remanded to judicial custody.

Doctors at the government hospital have reported that the girl's condition is stable. Police Commissioner Dr Anuradha instructed an expedited investigation and assured justice would be delivered for the young victim.
