Intermediate student of Narayana college dies by suicide in Madhapur

HYDERABAD: An intermediate student of Narayana College in Madhapur died by suicide on Friday. Reportedly, he hung himself to the ceiling fan of his hostel room.

The boy, identified as Kanaka Raju, was a second year science student.

Suspicious of his absence till noon, staff of the college went to Kanaka Raju's room, only to find him hanging to the fan.

Management of the college said that he excelled in studies and also got good marks even in his first year of college. They said that they did not know the reason behind his suicide.

City police registered a case and also informed the family members of Kanaka Raju.
