KMR India Homes promoter murdered in Bowenpally

HYDERABAD: A builder by the name Moosa was murdered allegedly by his business rivals in Bowenpally of Hyderabad on Tuesday night. The death of Moosa Siddiqui in the gruesome incident was confirmed by the Station House Officer of Bowenpally Police Station.

According to reports, a group of unidentified persons attacked him with knives at his house in Dilkushanagar of Bowenpally area. The assailants descended on his house in the evening under the pretext of meeting him. As soon as Moosa came out, they pounced on him and stabbed him with knives, leading to his death. The attackers immediately fled the scene of offence.

The deceased was the promoter of KMR India Homes, a real estate firm that operates out of its office in Rajendra Nagar of Hyderabad. Though the exact reason that led to his murder was not immediately known, the Bowenpally police, during their preliminary investigation reportedly found out that he had some disputes with a few of his business adversaries hailing from Chandrayangutta of the Old City.

A manhunt was immediately launched by the Bowenpally police and the Task Force police to nab the culprits. According to some reports, at least two persons have reportedly been taken into custody for their suspected involvement in the gruesome murder. The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital for further formalities like the post-mortem examination.
