Man attacks wife's sister with knife for rejecting him in Keshampet

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident in Keshampet of Ranga Reddy district, a lecherous man attacked his sister-in-law in the early hours of Thursday, enraged by her refusal to marry him.

According to reports, Kishan Naik attacked Anita, the sister of his wife, with a knife in the early hours of Thursday. Anita works at the government primary healthcare centre in Keshampet. The barbaric incident took place at around 3 am when Anita was on duty at her work place. Kishan Naik used a kitchen knife and attempted to slit her throat. Hospital CCTV showed that Kishan brutally punched and attacked her.

Anita suffered injuries on her neck and fingers. She received immediate treatment in the hospital.

Keshampet SI Dhanunjay said that Kishan tried to kill her as she was not accepting his proposal for marriage. The police took the accused into custody and were investigating the matter.
