Man dies, wife critical after falling from fifth floor of Madhapur building

HYDERABAD: A man has lost his life while his wife is seriously injured after suffering a fall from the fifth floor of an under-construction building at Izzat Nagar in Madhapur Police Station limits .

The victims were identified as Krishna and Kavita from Gadwal in Mahbubnagar district who were working as construction labourers in the same building. While Krishna lost his life on the spot, Kavita sustained serious injuries and was shifted to a private hospital for treatment. The body of Krishna has been shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem. More details are yet to emerge about the incident. Meanwhile, locals expressed anger and alleged that the mishap took place due to negligence of municipal authorities
