Man electrocuted while talking on phone, places immersion heater under arm

KHAMMAM: A man in Khammam district lost his life in a freak accident.

40-year-old Mahesh Babu was preparing to bathe his dog when he turned on an immersion heater to warm the water.

While the heater was on, Babu received a phone call. Distracted, he placed the live heater under his arm instead of immersing it in water. The electric current passed through his body, delivering a fatal shock.

Babu's wife, Durga Devi, rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
