Man ends life over harassment by online loan vendors in Shamshabad

HYDERABAD: A young man died by suicide over harassment by an online loan app vendors in Shamshabad of Ranga Reddy district.

The deceased, identified as Naresh, 22, hailing from Karimnagar district, was working at Shamshabad Airport and staying at a hostel.

Naresh has reportedly taken multiple loans from an online app and as he was not able to clear the debts, the online loan vendors started harassing him.

Unable to bear the harassment, Naresh took an extreme step and died by suicide by consuming poison in his hostel room on Sunday morning.

The RGIA police upon receiving the complaint from Naresh's family members registered a case and investigating the matter further.
