Man loses leg in accident, SI carries it to hospital in Karimnagar

HYDERABAD: A young man, who hails from Bihar, was severely injured after a Brezza car, traveling from Karimnagar to Warangal, rammed into his bike that was heading to Karimnagar at Gollapally village on the outskirts of Kothagattu village of Shankarapatnam mandal in Karimnagar.
The man, identified as Faizarat Hiamad (20), suffered severe injuries and lost his leg. He was shifted to a nearby hospital after locals called an ambulance.
A Sub-Inspector, who rushed to the spot, spotted the detached leg and took it to the hospital in the police vehicle in the hope of getting the leg replanted on the victim's body through surgery.
The injured was being treated at MGM hospital. The sub-inspector's presence of mind earned appreciation from all quarters.
