Murder accused woman falsely claims suicide attempt

ADILABAD: A woman who was arrested for allegedly orchestrating the murder of her husband made a false claim of attempting suicide while in judicial remand.

Vijayalakshmi, accused in the murder case of her husband Jadav Gajanand Zainath, a teacher, claimed that she had swallowed blade pieces. She was immediately transferred to RIMS Super Specialty Hospital, where doctors found no evidence of blade ingestion.

Vijayalakshmi was arrested on June 15 for hiring killers to murder her husband, Gajanand, to continue her affair with her boyfriend, Mahesh.
