PD Act on old-age home owner for duping job aspirants

WARANGAL: Warangal Police Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi ordered invoking of Preventive Detention Act (PD) against an old-age home administrator Rajamalla Sridevi of Prashant Nagar in Kazipet.

The accused reportedly duped unemployed youth on the pretext of government jobs. She established an old age home with Banoth Raj Kumat of Charlapally and extorted money from innocent people in the name of jobs.

The Kazipet police inspector Mahender Reddy handed over the warrant to Sridevi at Khammam jail and she was shifted to Chanchalguda Central Prison.

The Commissioner of Police asked people to be aware of such scams. And take precautionary actions while looking for jobs.
