Police bust automobile-thief gang in Palnadu, seize 55 bikes

SATTENAPALLI: The Sattenapalli rural police arrested a gang of thieves who were allegedly stealing two-wheelers in Palnadu district and seized as many as 55 bikes on Tuesday. The police said that the bikes cost over Rs. 23 lakhs.

According to reports, the gang stole two-wheeler vehicles, most of which were Hero Honda Deluxe models and hid at three places in the Rajupalem forest area. They were reportedly planning to share and sell the bikes after the number reached 60.

It was reported that the gang committed thefts in many places across the district.
