Sixth grade student bitten by snake in Peddapalli Gurukul school
A sixth-grade student was hospitalised after being bitten by a snake at a Gurukula school in Sultanabad.
PEDDAPALLI: A sixth-grade student was bitten by a snake at the Social Welfare Gurukula school in Sultanabad, Peddapally district. The incident took place on school premises, causing panic among students and parents.
The school staff immediately shifted the student, Manvith, to a hospital in Karimnagar for treatment. Further details regarding his condition are awaited.
This is the latest in a series of troubling incidents affecting Gurukula schools under Congress rule. Recently, 34 students in Sirpur (T) Gurukul school fell ill with viral fevers, while in another incident in Wanaparthy, the owner of a Gurukula school building locked its gates over unpaid rent. Parents have expressed concerns about the worsening conditions and lack of proper supervision in these schools.
