Solider from Telangana dies in Assam

NALGONDA: A soldier of the Indian Army hailing from Telangana died while serving in Assam.

The deceased, Eerati Mahesh (24), hailed from Madarigudem in Anumula mandal of Nalgonda district. Mahesh, who had been stationed in Assam for the past year and a half, succumbed to health issues caused by adverse weather conditions.

The Assam government is making arrangements to send his body back to his hometown. The untimely death of Mahesh has cast a pall of gloom over Madarigudem.
